About E-Mail
E-mail stands for electronic mail. It can
contain graphics, text, and data like
spreadsheets, sent via the Internet to another
person or company that has an email address.
An email address consists of the persons name,
an @ sign, and the domain name, usually a company
or service provider. An example is
info@empoweringyou.com. It usually consists of
small letters, no capitals and no spaces.
An e-mail document contains the address it's
going to, the address it's coming from, a short
subject line, the body of the letter which
contains text, and any attachments such as
graphics or spreadsheets.
